Awarded a grant in 1993 by the FIS (Health Research Fund) for a project on Spectral Frequency Analysis (EEG – quantitative) and Evoked Potentials. This research was conducted in the 90s, primarily with children with ADHD and OCD. The Neuropsychology Laboratory was created for this purpose, and I was its director. I was also responsible for the Eating Disorders Program at the Almería Mental Health Area until its closure in 2005. Several studies on self-concept and personality were conducted in patients with anorexia nervosa. Currently, my work focuses primarily on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Behavioral Problems, and Developmental Disorders (language, dyslexia, and other specific developmental disorders). This activity is validated in the Parent Questionnaire, the Psychoeducational Questionnaire for Teachers, the Continuum Performance Test, a version of the Stroop test, Dichotic Listening, etc. My research interest focuses primarily on the assessment of executive functions.
