PROFESSIONAL AND RESEARCHER

  • Coordinator of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit from its creation in 1989 until 2004.
  • Awarded a grant in 1993 by the FIS (Health Research Fund) for a project on Frequency Spectral Analysis (EEG – quantitative) and Evoked potentialsThis research was conducted in the 90s. It focused on patients with ADHD and childhood OCD. For this purpose, the following was created: Neuropsychology Laboratory for which I was responsible.
  • Responsible for Eating Disorders Program from the Mental Health Area of ​​Almería until its disappearance in 2005. Several investigations were carried out on self-concept and personality in patients with anorexia nervosa.
  • Currently, my activity is focused primarily on the Attention Deficit Disorder, Behavioral Problems y Developmental Disorders (language, dyslexia, and other specific developmental disorders). This activity is validated in Questionnaire for Parents, the Psychopedagogical Questionnaire for Teachers, the Continuous Performance Testa whirlpool bath, Stroop version, Dichotic Listening etc. My research interest focuses primarily on the assessment of executive functions.
