La Young Solidarity Association of Los Millares (JSM) It was established in Almería on June 10, 2011, and registered in the Register of Associations of Andalusia with the No. 5093 Section 1 on July 8, 2011.

Jsm It arises as a response to the needs of a number of families with children who had difficulties, both in socio-emotional development and communication, as well as in schooling and learning.

Jsm It is an inclusive association; therefore, since the members are the family unit, not all the girls and young women who belong to it necessarily have any difficulties. This aspect is of utmost importance because it facilitates the inclusion of those who do.

Another important aspect of our partnership is the active participation of the family in the activities that take place, including the specific activities for them such as the Parents' School, Conferences and Workshops.

Our expansion of activities is due to intrinsic demand, which has led to the need for a volunteer jobs. enthusiastic and specifically well-trained.

Next we expose JSM's objectives and the activities in which volunteering can be included.

AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION

As stated in Chapter II, Art. 6, 1, the MAIN PURPOSES The following are members of the association:

  • Comprehensive development in the social, family and school spheres, both for children and young people and their families.
  • The development of assistance, educational, recreational, cultural and sporting activities appropriate for the best achievement of a comprehensive education focused on fundamental human rights and that facilitates social integration.
  • Promotion, creation, organization or sponsorship of community centers where educational and support activities for children, adolescents and their families can be developed, leading to an optimization of socio-emotional integration.
  • Elaboration of community and family studies that determine the risk factor's psychosocial factors that may interfere with the comprehensive development of young people and their families, generating resilience factors individual and family members.
  • Develop prevention programs aimed at eliminating the risks to young people from drug use and other psychosocial risk behaviors and the implementation of psychosocial and individual protective factors against risk situations.
  • Educating in the freedom, solidarity, justice y equality, In general, regarding respect for Human Rights, within the framework of coexistence and tolerance.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION

This Association is proposed for the ACHIEVEMENT OF THEIR OBJECTIVES the next activities:

  • A newsletter will be published with the following title: “Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology” and any publications it deems necessary to promote the aforementioned objectives. In fact, for the past two years, it has been responsible for editing the Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology (ISSN: 1578-1062)although the new platform (OJS), the inclusion of the DOI, and the renewal of the ISSN data, have started in September 2025.
  • Meetings, information conferences and general activities will be held for the parents of the participating children, as well as for professionals and the general population, with the aim of increasing educational skills to achieve the goals of our association in the educational, family and social spheres.
  • A School Parents whose purpose is to increase knowledge and skills in the education of their sons and daughters.
  • They will get going recreational, sports, group and social activities with children and young people whose parents belong to the association:

  • Group activities aimed at working on self-esteem and social skills
  • Group activities for relationship building and personal growth
  • Adapted and non-competitive sports activities.
  • Theater workshop.

  • Weekend camping trips
  • Activities related to solidarity with children in the Third World
  • Summer Camp
  • Summer school

All the activities They will adapt to the conditions and skills individual records of each child/young person participating in the same.
